The Casa Vinho terrace overlooks an infinity style swimming pool and separate toddler splash pool, a perfect way to enjoy the warming Portuguese sun.  Alternatively, why not relax on our terrace area with a G&T on our designer sofa and chairs? 

The resort complex of Palmyra has a further three separate pool and garden areas to choose from, each unique in their own design, offering a choice of areas in which to relax and unwind .  One of the defining features of the Palmyra resort is the lush tropical gardens which are lovingly maintained by our groundskeepers.

Just 5 minutes walk from Casa Vinho is the Internationally renowned golf complex of Vila Sol, one of the Algarve’s most sought after golf courses.  The Vila Sol complex is set in 75 acres of natural beauty and accommodates these two magnificent golf courses, Pestana Vila Sol Championship and Pestana Vila Sol Academy Golf Course.  

A full food and drinks menu is available in the clubhouse throughout the day, and is most welcoming to guests and non-golfers.  Closer to home, a pool cafe operates within Palmyra during the summer months, offering fresh pastries and snacks.

Relax.....luxury comes as standard

Casa Vinho has three bathroom suites in total.  Two of these are en suites to Bedrooms One and Two.

All our bathrooms are luxuriously finished with limestone flooring and tiling, and the best quality fittings including Grohe and Duravit. Each bathroom includes sink units finished in natural stone, with quality integrated storage. Shower areas comprise over-sized glass enclosures, and there is a large family bathtub within the master bedroom en suite.

Our hot water system comprises a powerful gas fired boiler, providing instantaneous mains pressure hot water throughout the property, ensuring that you never run out.  As always the smaller details make all the difference - each bathroom has thermostatically controlled underfloor heating for the off-peak seasons, together with heated towel rails and storage facilities.

When staying at Casa Vinho you can pack light, knowing that we provide a generous towel package ensuring each guest can enjoy 500 gsm imported cotton bath sheets, hand towels, face cloths and bath mats.

The finer details

Standard features:

• Parking: There is a private underground parking garage with a designated parking space for Casa Vinho residents and an entrance door directly into the Casa Vinho lower ground level.  Additionally, parking is also available on the street by the front door to the property.
• Kitchen: The kitchen has a comprehensive selection of quality implements, crockery, glassware and cutlery, including glasses for almost every type of drink (including gin goblets!).   Plastic glassware is provided for use on the terrace or pool area.  The kitchen includes (amongst other things) a Siemens gas hob, Bosch oven, Bosch dishwasher, Siemens Fridge/Freezer, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle and toaster.
• Air conditioning: All rooms have electronically controlled air conditioned for your comfort.  The air conditioning operates as a heating system during off-peak periods.
• Linen and laundry: Bed linens and towels are supplied - please discuss any maid service requirements or fresh linen replacements with us at the time of booking. A washing machine and tumble dryer is available for your use in the laundry room on the lower ground level of the property.
• Home entertainment - Audio: Casa Vinho's Sonos home music system comprises a Sonos PLAY 5 in the living area, and a Sonos PLAY 1 in each of the four bedrooms. A compatible mobile device is required to control the system via the existing WIFI network. Guests can also access their own music subscription/streaming service such as Spotify, Deezer etc. 
• Home entertainment - Video: There are three televisions in the property. One in the living room, one in the master bedroom, and one in bedroom three. UK television is not officially available in the Algarve, therefore we provide a comprehensive library of movies and pre-recorded TV shows for you to enjoy during your stay. You may of course access certain "IP TV" sources on the internet using your own mobile devices.
• Internet: Complementary ultra fast 100MB fibre optic broadband and Wi-Fi access is provided throughout the property.  We have Wi-Fi access points located on each level to ensure a seamless Wi-Fi signal throughout Casa Vinho.
• Maximum capacity:  The property has four bedrooms and is suitable for a maximum of up to 8 guests.
• Meet and greet:  Entry to the property will typically be via a secure key box.  We have a local property manager who is available should guests require assistance, and who will introduce himself to you at an early stage during your stay.
• Welcome pack: If you are arriving early or late, or would simply like to arrange a welcome pack of provisions, please discuss this with us when you book.

Your safety at Casa Vinho:

• Smoke alarms:  The property is fitted with smoke alarms on each level.
• Carbon monoxide (CO) alarm:  To ensure your safety, a Carbon Monoxide detector situated is situated in the main living area.
• Palmyra resort: The Palmyra resort is a gated community, accessible by residents and guests using a security code.  Crime is low in the Algarve, however for your peace of mind, private security officers patrol and monitor the resort 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. CCTV is operated throughout the resort.
• Stairs and wheelchair access:  The ground floor level (which comprises the living space, family bathroom and bedroom three, all on one level) is accessible from the street and pool terrace. The upper floor and lower ground are accessed via stairs, which may be unsuitable for families with young children.

Other tips for planning your stay:

• Travel: Casa Vinho is just 24 minutes' drive from Faro Airport.
• Car hire: We recommend that you hire a car to get the most out of your stay.  We can also provide you with contact details for a reliable English-speaking taxi company should you wish to leave the car at home in the evening, or if you need airport transfers.
• Welcome guide: When you have completed your booking we will provide you with a comprehensive guide to the property which also includes tips for planning your visit, including sightseeing and eating out in the local area.
• Supermarkets: There are several well stocked supermarkets within a 5 minute drive stocking a fantastic range of fresh produce. Directions, and our recommendations, are included in our welcome pack.
• Cleaning supplies:  Basic cleaning supplies are provided for the use of guests.
• Consideration for others: Palmyra is a luxurious family resort and as such Casa Vinho is unsuitable for large single sex groups or stag/hen parties etc. The resort security team has a low tolerance for anti-social behaviour, which is likely to result in immediate termination of the rental agreement.
